In between preparing breakfast for the kids, brewing coffee and packing lunches, it’s a miracle that I manage to get any food down myself in the mornings. But, despite not having much time, it is important for me to maintain healthy food choices. Therefore, I often rely on this breakfast smoothie to get me through. I hope it can serve you as well as it serves me.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 tbsp of ground flax
- 15 grams protein powder (I use VEGA Sports Performance)
- 1/2 cup of yogurt
- 1 tbsp of almond butter
- 1/2 cup of almond milk
- 1/2 banana (optional)
METHOD
Blend all ingredients together. Drink up!
